He was predeceased by: his father Willis Burt; his siblings, Raymond Ridge, Willis Ridge, Vinnie Ligon, Inez Graham, Virginia Chapman and Jan Ridge; and his grandson Little Willis Nathan Ridge.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Freeman Ridge; his sons, Charles E. "Charlie" Ridge Jr. (Susan) of Benton and Willis Freeman "Bill" Ridge (Robin) of Courtland, MS; his great grandchildren, Joshua, Emily, James Willis, Baylor, Charli Louise and Decker; and his sisters, Doris Pugsley of Moore, OK and Eugenia Corkran of Helena. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to DeSoto School or West Helena Baptist Church will be appreciated.
