He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Montague; his wife Linder Montague; his son Joe Nathan Montague; his father Booker T. Sr. Montague; his grandmother Fannie Pogue; his siblings, Martha Jefferson, Andrea Montague, Amos Smith and Robert Lee Montague; and his daughter-in-law Diane Montague.
He is survived by: his children, Lorie Montague, Donnell Montague, Dinella Bragg, Augustus Montague (Teressa), Vicki Montague, Stephanie Montague, Kimyada Stokes (Orel), Willie Davis, Fred Smith (Lurether), Vallerie Montague, Anthony Montague and Courtney Montague; and his siblings, Ima Montague, Frances Taylor, Ara Lee Montague, Theresa Montague, Fleming Montague and Harold Montague (Loretta).
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stephens Funeral Home (257 Panama Rd W, West Helena, AR 72390). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Upper Room Pentecostal Church (1736 US 49, West Helena, AR 72390).
