It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Almus Laxson of West Helena, Arkansas, born in Monticello, Arkansas, who passed away on October 21, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Almus G. Laxson, Sr. and Ida Laxson; and his siblings, Winfred Barker, Eugene Laxson, Betty "Bib" Snyder and Frances Leggett.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Laxson; his sons, Kenny Laxson (Staci) of Lexa and James Laxson (Jennifer) of Augusta, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Alyssa Goodell, Caylee Laxson, Kyle Laxson, Jack Laxson and Kenny Laxson, Jr.; his great grandchild Levi Kelly; and his siblings, Joyce Centenio of West Helena, Kenny Laxson and James Laxson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
