She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sister Shirley Lambert; her husband Alfred Valentine; her son Michael Valentine; her friends, Ophelia Corbin, Earnese Jacobs and Lynette Harrell; her sisters, Elizabeth Watkins, Augustine Morrow, Juanita Nickens and Ingrid Mapp; her parents, Lem Thomas and Estella Thomas; her siblings, Virlee Gray, Theodis Thomas, Evania Ragar, Marie Brown, Omar Thomas, Opal Jean Bohanan and Clara Riley; her daughters, Sharon Fields and Alfreda Valerie Valentine of West Helena, Arkansas; her daughter-in-law Cynthia Thomas of Covington, Georgia; her grandsons, Michael Valentine and Marcel Valentine; her great grandchild Nicole; her grandson Maurice Valentine; her great grandchild Legend of Covington, Georgia; and her siblings, Frederick Emerson of Detroit, Michigan and Pearl Thomas. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
