Though Larry Don may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Larry Don touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Elkins and Louise Elkins (Tucker); and his brother Bill. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Elkins (McCullah); his children, Katharine Rentsch (Katie) of Fayetteville and Kevin; his grandchildren, Kathena Elkins, Jack Andrews and Devyn Rentsch; his brother Robby Elkins (Leslie) of Fayetteville; and his great grandchild Khe'Mari Louis Cooper. He is also survived by three nieces, one nephew, cousins, and many, many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moore's Chapel Funeral Home (206 W Center St, Fayetteville, AR 72701). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the Baptist Ford Cemetery (736 Co Rd 1194, Fayetteville, AR 72701).
