She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Bates and Mary Bell Phelps Bates. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Whitten Lueken (Carley), Melissa Brannan Layne (Daniel) and Stephen Brannan (Jodean); her great grandchildren, Miles and Zeke; her grandchildren, Walker Tait and Veronica Tait; and her pet Lester.
