It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Joe Davis (Weiner, Arkansas), born in Water Valley, Mississippi, who passed away on July 25, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, A. R. Davis and Sammie Ramsey Davis; his wife Ileta Faye Davis; and his brother Woody Davis. He is survived by: his nieces, Tammy Pate (Dennis) of Jonesboro, Vickie Ward of Mountain Home and Pat Harris of Asheville, NC; his sister Patsy Wakefield of Dallas, Texas; and his nephews, Randall Wakefield of Dallas, Jerrad Wakefield of Covington, TN and David Wakefield of Memphis. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
