He was predeceased by: his parents, James Isaac Morgan Sr. and Bessie Camden Morgan; his wife Bobbie Jean Morgan; his siblings, James Morgan Jr., Marvin Morgan, Clyde Morgan, Verlene Perrien and Myra Morgan; and his daughter Tina Morgan Wilson.

He is survived by: his sisters, Bobbie Jean Clark, Vera Ann Murphree (Lynn) and Christine Liggin; and his great grandchildren, Lillian, Evalyn, Jaelynn, Marcus, Haylie and Domonic.
