It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Raftie Sr. of Watson, Arkansas, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Katie Mae Lewis (LueDella Raftie) and Willie Rathey of Watson, Arkansas.; and his siblings, Jake Lewis Jr., Ann Lewis and Dorothy Pettis.
He is survived by: his children, Herbert Raftie Jr. (Valencia), Erik Raftie, Peretha Pierce, Hifrance Raftie and Sandra Raftie; and his sisters, Mary Thompson, Odessa McKnight (Jim) and Rosie Beverly. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
