It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pete Pitts in Washington, Arkansas, who passed away on October 11, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Vaughn and Lina Ellen Taylor Pitts; and his siblings, June Barnes, Barbara Rogers, Berta Green, Albert Pitts, Rudolph Pitts, Billy Joe Pitts and Wayne Pitts.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Pitts; his children, Randall Keith Pitts and Kimberly of Clifty; his son-in-law Greg Woods of Clifty; his grandchildren, Dalton Woods of Centerton, Dr. Hope Woods Shaw (Daniel) of Nashville, TN and Roy Keith Pitts of Clifty; his great grandchildren, Remington Keith Shaw and Sarah Joy Shaw; his siblings, Ruby Sutton, Linda Cane and Jimmy; and his sister-in-law Marlene Pitts.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Clifty Cemetery or Semper Fi & America's Fund.
