He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jim" and Bertha Shepherd (Mounce); his wife Terri Shepherd; and his brothers, Troy Shepherd, Virgil Shepherd and Preston Shepherd.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Shepherd (Emily) of Springdale, John Shepherd (Brandy) of Coal Hill and Dawn Trout (David) of Clarksville; and his siblings, Leslie Shepherd, Thelma Smith, Lois Harvey and Donna Todd. He is also survived by four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
