He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilton Applegate and Lula Applegate; his brothers, Frankie, Glen, William and Wade Applegate; and his grandson Joshua Jayden Applegate.
He is survived by: his wife Velinda Applegate; his children, Keisha Morse (David), Adam Applegate (Heather) and Katlan Applegate; and his grandsons, Hunter Morse, Gauge Applegate and Gavin Applegate.
