She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Thompson and Opal Bryant Thompson; her siblings, Norma Ruth Thompson and Rev. Roy Lathan Thompson; and her nephew David Thompson.

She is survived by: her husband Floyd Brown; her son Jason Brown (Brigette); her nephew Daniel Thompson (Karen) of New Edinburg, AR.; her sister-in-law Betty Lanier Thompson of Greer's Ferry, AR.; her great-nephew Jeremy Thompson; her great-nieces, Dena Chancellor and Brenttany Thompson; and also Braiden Chancellor.
