In the vast expanse of eternity, Dixie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Dixie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Pearce and Myrtis Hobgood Pearce; her brother Lamar Pearce; and her great-niece Raina Armstrong. She is survived by: her siblings, Johnny Pearce of Warren, AR, Shirley Beard of Warren, AR, Jean Edwards of Warren, AR, Cathryn Armstrong of Warren, AR, Carolyn Pearce of Chidester, AR and Verna Crawford (James Merl) of Hermitage, AR; her nephew James Blake Armstrong; and her close friend Pat Murphy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
