She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwight Ferguson and Lena Hagood Ferguson; her husband Emmett Cope; her sister Linda Ferguson Green; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Cope Brightwell.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Cope Smith (Neil) of Midlothian, TX; her cousin Hannah Huitt of Brinkley, AR; and her siblings-in-law, Jerrilyn Bulloch (Bobby) of Huntsville, TX and David Cope (Mary) of Helena, AR. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
