He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Myres and Hazel Ruth Peterson Myres; his siblings, Doyle Myres and Bernice Adams; and his grandchildren, Kim Beller and Silver Ray Myres.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Clary Myres; his children, Christian Mullen of Paragould, Gwendolyn Jean Murdock (Ford McDonald) of Oklahoma City, Donna Marie Beller of Newport and Mary Dixon (James) of Maynard; his siblings, Sam Myres (Ruth) of Rockford, Merl Myres (Cathy) of Alabama, Billy Myres (Yvonne) of Texas and Jean Condict; his grandchildren, Derrick Mullen, Cindy Jones, Sandy Brewer, Jennifer Beller and Gayla Case; and his great grandchildren, Kayla Jones, Shawn Jones, Preston Case, Paisley Case and Silver Myres.
Due to COVID-19, the Governor of Arkansas has directed the Arkansas Department of Health to issue directives to all funeral homes concerning restrictions and guidelines for funeral services.
