He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edgar Lee Rider and Vera Lavinia Guthrie Rider; his wife Erma Lee Roberts; his son Michael Rider; his grandson Jessie Rider; his siblings, Verdell Rider, Wanda Rider Hammons, Bill Rider of Mount Vernon and Tom Rider of Paragould, Arkansas.; his daughter Carla Garvin (Wesley) of Pocahontas; his daughter-in-law Joyce Rider of Hoxie; his brother Jerry Rider of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Allysa Rider of Pocahontas, Magan Garvin (Phillip Secor) of Pocahontas and Garrett Garvin (Corra) of Pocahontas; his great grandchildren, Kalynn of Pocahontas, Laken of Pocahontas, Madi of Pocahontas, Matthew of Pocahontas, Sophia of Pocahontas and Phoebe of Pocahontas; his siblings-in-law, Linda Milgrim (Charles) of Black Rock, Norma Tillman of Walnut Ridge, Judy Bridges (Jim) of Walnut Ridge, Lois Rider of Paragould, Nell Rider of Mount Vernon, Iowa and Thomas "Butch" Roberts of Jonesboro; and his caregivers, Brandi Davis, Andrea Russell, Jessica Bagwell, Faith Murdock, Bridgette Kazzee Casillas, Ashley Story, Heather McKenzie, Erica Nicholson of Sierra, LaDonna Dougan and Chaplain Shawn McElhanon. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
