It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry Hovater of Ward, Arkansas, born in England, Arkansas, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, L. D. Raney and Joyce Wallace Raney; her husband Roger Hovater; her brother Charles Adams; her sister-in-law Zetty Raney; and her pet Oscar.
She is survived by: her children, Lesley Carroll of Waco, TX, Jeremy Hovater of Cabot, AR and Melinda Tenison (Shane) of Hickory Plains, AR; her close friend Robert Kinney; and her siblings, Lisa Freeman (Doug) and Gary Raney. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
