He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene "Gene" Reed and Edna Altermatt Reed; and his daughter Patti Lynn Elzey. He is survived by: his wife Alma Tooley Reed; his brother Tommy Reed (Norma); his children, Kenny Reed (Debra), Cheril Trumpfheller (Elmer) and Beverly Boyd (Ray); and his son-in-law Everett Elzey (Diane). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
