He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Frederick Cox, Sr. and Carolyn Ruth Hollis Cox. He is survived by: his wife Mary Cox; his daughter Carolyn Cookro (Matthew); his grandchildren, Jimmy Lee Sumler and Marion Elizabeth Boulanger; and his siblings, Rhonda Sue Anderson (David), Betty Ruth McGregor (Clyde) and John Allen Cox. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
