She is survived by: her sister Barbara Szplit of Beebe; her stepsons, Frank Beard (Mary) of California and Bill Beard (Paula) of Oklahoma; and her grandchildren, Brittany Stroud (James) of Beebe, Erika Gray-Beard of Texas, Daniel Beard of Texas, Rebecca Harmon (Michael) of Texas, Matthew Beard (Anko) of Tennessee and Chrissy Beard Quaid (Alex) of California. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

“We live in Cashmere WA. Back in 1974 we brought our orchard from Orland and Laverne Beard. Their daughter Sherry lived with them at that time. She was maybe about 12 years old. They were a fun family. Orland was always busy with his teaching, preaching and building big half barrel BBQs among other things....always busy. It was July 19th and Orland had been outside. He came in with a flourish and announced, "I like to catch a chill!" it became our catch phrase for years. We miss them. <3”
