He was predeceased by: his father Jesse Smith; and his siblings, Evelyn Sirratt, Lucille Ulsperger, Mary Wright, John Lloyd Smith, James Smith and George Smith.

He is survived by: his daughter Barbara Williams (Bob) of Bradford, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Israel Williams and Tina Williams; and his brother Gary Smith of San Antonio. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
