He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton W. Elam and Virginia Kurts Elam. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Ann Elam Ulrich of Kaufman, Texas; and his brothers, Jerry Elam (Barbara) of Ward, Gary Elam (Marilyn) of Drummonds and Calvin Elam (Jessica) of Crystal River. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
