He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Miles Barker and Bitha Ann Hall Barker; his son Rodney Dale Barker; and his sisters, Anna Mae Crooms, Edna Jean Hayes and Helen Barnett.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Penn Barker; his son Ricky Don Barker (Carie) of Jonesboro; his siblings, Darlene Goza (Bobby) of Black Rock and Lawrence Barker of Black Rock; his grandchildren, Tiffany Kauffman (Drew) of Jonesboro, Ricky Dale Barker of Jonesboro and Jody Don Barker of Jonesboro; and his great grandchild Dexter Kauffman.
