She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Sheets and Gertrude Sheets (Hibbs); her former husband Joe Brown; her husband Robert Staten; her son Billy Joe Brown; her siblings, Lonnie Sheets, Troy Sheets and Kathy Bradley; and her grandson Matthew Brown.
She is survived by: her son Steve Brown (Liz) of Imboden; her brothers, Melburn Sheets (Lois) of Hoxie, Bruce Sheets of Walnut Ridge, Phil Sheets (Sissy) of Hoxie and Mark Sheets (Robin) of Tennessee; her grandchildren, Amanda Yates, Becca Pratt and Holley Skeen; and her stepgrandson Cody White. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members.
