It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ann Harris of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on June 11, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Moore and Della Ross Moore; her former husband Marion Gates; her husband Jerry Harris; and her sister Mary Louise Stiny.
She is survived by: her sons, Wesley Gates (Tracy) of Hoxie and Leslie Gates (Tammy) of Walnut Ridge; her siblings, Tommy Moore, Vernon Moore, Helen Robins, Linda Davis, Joyce Roberts, Janet Brand and Peggy Miles; her grandchildren, Weston Gates, Raven Gates, Carson Gates, Derrick Simms and Randi Simms; and her great grandchildren, Maverick, Carli, Avery, Greyeson, Slayde, Jayci, Tanner and Brentley.
