It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Della Ruth Woodard of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Della Ruth departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Della Ruth. Though Della Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Thompson and Annie Thompson; her husband Bud Woodard; her son Michael Woodard; and her siblings, Mary Miller, Charles and Glenn Payne.
She is survived by: her daughter Rose Henderson of Walnut Ridge; her grandchildren, Amber Henderson of Walnut Ridge, Rebecca Catron (David) of College City and James Henderson (Shelia) of Shannon; and her great grandchildren, Melody, Joshua and Gabrielle Catron. She is also survived by great grandchildren, cousins, other family, and friends.
