He was predeceased by: his parents, Winston Vern Rice, Sr. and Thelma Rice (Davis); his wife Wanda Rice (Kopf); and his siblings, Gerald Rice and Vivian Rice.

He is survived by: his son Roger Rice (Denise); and his siblings, Kelly J (Rice) and Audean B. Taff of Springfield, OR.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, two step-grandsons and 4 step great-grandchildren.
