He was predeceased by: his parents, James William and Idabel Crawford (Phillips); and his sisters, Clairene Cartwright and Joyce Marie Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Connie Crawford; his brother James Crawford (Terry); his nephew William Brent Hughes; and his niece Beth Hughes.
