She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Hicks and Corda Lee Hicks (Gilkey); her former husband Sonny Perez; her husband Ron Owen; and her siblings, Bob Dickens and Mary Davidson.
She is survived by: her children, Cassie Carter, Rowdy Perez, Ely Perez and Kia Slate; her grandchildren, Brennon, Noah Carter, Breeanna Haviland, Dylan Perez, Rhianna and Ashley Farrish; and her siblings, Pat McFarland (Richard), Margaret Ann Finney and Sam Dickens (Christine). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
