We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2019, at the age of 100, Mau Montgomery (Waldron, Arkansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Cook and Bess Cook; her husband Cecil Montgomery; her son-in-law Luther Hunter; her great grandchild Spencer McIlroy Hawkins; her niece Billye Williams; and her brother Claude.
She is survived by: her daughters, Valva Montgomery Hawkins (Bill) and Edie Montgomery Hunter of Little Rock; her grandchildren, Drake Hawkins (Melissa), Dane Hawkins of Little Rock, Luther Hunter, Jr. (Leigh Anne) of Alexandria and Cecilia Hunter Smith (Kelly) of Fayetteville; her great grandchildren, Anne-Elise Hawkins Parker (Brad), Walker Hawkins, Hannah Hunter, Kayla Hawkins, Trey Hunter, Peyton Smith, Griffin Hawkins and Avery Smith; her great great grandchildren, Leighton Hunter and Faye McCollum Parker; and her sister Gladys Cook Thompson.
