He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyman I. Raper, Sr. and Gloria D. Raper (Parrish); and his sons, Jeremy and Scotty. He is survived by: his children, Chad Sams (Mandy) of Crown Point and Lisa Crouch of Scottsville; his grandchildren, Grant, Sydney, Whitney and Destiny; his sister Linda Brown; his nephews, Bobby and Bryan; and his aunt Eva Jean (Tami Wallace). He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
