He is survived by: his parents, James Earl Simmons Sr. and Linda Gail Valentine; his son Taven James Simmons; his brothers, Shawn McAllister, Timothy Creekmore and Jonathon McAllister; his brother-in-law Ryan Allen; his sisters, Jackie Allen, Elizabeth Simmons and Heather Peck; his nephews, Ronald Arbuthnot, Sam Arbuthnot, Dakota Arbuthnot and Jacob Allen; his niece Madison Allen; and his aunts and uncles, Wendall Barnes (Nancy), Susan Russell (Randy), Dicie Cole and Noreen Cameron.
