Max D. Gunnels Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max D. Gunnels of Waldo, Arkansas, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Max may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Max touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guyte Dillion and Effie Mae Gunnels (Goodwin); and his brother Dale Gunnels. He is survived by: his wife Bettye Rogers Gunnels of Waldo; and his nephew Glen Gunnels of Camarillo, CA..
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. (420 N Jackson, Magnolia, AR 71753). A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Magnolia Memorial Park Cemetery (370 Columbia Rd #36, Magnolia, AR 71753).
