He was predeceased by: his father Otis "Paul" Mixon; and his grandparents, Audrey, John Henry Smith, Linnie Bell and Lee Hermon Mixon.

He is survived by: his mother Hazel McDaniel (AC) of Waldo, AR; his children, ShaQuanda Mixon of Magnolia, AR, Iesha Adams of Arkadelphia, AR, Makayla Mixon of Seattle, WA, Makaila Mixon of Little Rock, AR., Cardillous Wilson of Waldo, AR, Quantavious Mixon of Little Rock, AR and Marcus Mixon Jr. of Sherwood, AR.; his grandchildren, Jaylen, Carnillious, Kylie, Carderrian, Alison, KaeCee, Kyron and Josiah; his siblings, Diana Howell (John), Paula Sanders, Cie Cie McDaniels, Angela Smith, Lois Biddle, Michael Mixon (Mable), Jeffery Mixon, Lester Mixon, Nixon Mixon, Dewone McDaniel (Derosea), Alfred Morris, Anthony of Washington, David Biddle and Andre Averett; his niece Erika Mixon; his cousins, Zoe Brown-Turner (Kenneth), Cassandra Roy and Marcina Dunn-McKinle; and also Pamela Brantley. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
