She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlando Burl and Shirley Marie Nelson (Richardson); and her brother Gerald Franklin Nelson. She is survived by: her husband Gary Barnes of Waldo; her children, Amanda Phillips (Ken) of Goodman, Missouri and Erick Barnes of Goodman, Missouri; her granddaughters, Julie Phillips and Sarah Phillips of Goodman; her great grandchildren, Elliott Baker and Rowan Baker of Goodman; and her sister Debra Kay Elzen (Ken) of Tyler, Texas.
