He was predeceased by: his father William Puryear Wood; his wife Patricia Wood (Prestidge); his son William Hassel Wood; and his daughter-in-law Cecelia Wood. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Ross Wood (Sarah) of Stuttgart, AR, Edie Johnson (Mark) of Raleigh, NC and Charlie Wood (Renae) of Paragould, AR; and his great grandchildren, Savannah Wood, Josh Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Eric Johnson, Isabella Wood and Landon Wood.
