With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Phipps of Violet Hill, Arkansas, who passed away on October 6, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Carl "Mutt" Phipps, Jr. and Cassie Jane Haney Phipps; his brothers, Gale Phipps and Paul Phipps; and his grandson Tommy Phipps.
He is survived by: his spouse Kathrean "Kat" Gillihan; his children, Mike and Angie Phipps of Violet Hill; his children-in-law, Sonny and Marla Phipps of Truman; his children, LaDonna and Michael Brock of Hot Springs; his children-in-law, Linda and Allen Shaver of Conway; his siblings, Dean Phipps of Larkin, Jim Phipps (Melda) of Newburg, Carl Jr. Phipps (Shelia) of Jonesboro, Janie Tate (Raybourne) of Melbourne, Jerry Phipps (Kathy) of Hickory Ridge and Gaye Carpenter (Harold) of Violet Hill; his grandchildren, Katie Phipps, Cody Phipps, Ethan Phipps, Justin McCord, Cassandra McCord, Renee Clemente, Darcy Wilson, Jeremy Shaver and Colten Shaver; and his great grandchildren, Sophie Shaver, Lucy Shaver, Maggie Shaver, Alivia McCord of Harper McCord, A. J, Leo Clemente, Cecilia Wilson and Xavier Wilson. He is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
