He was predeceased by: his father Mitch Hargett; and his brother James. He is survived by: his mother Judy McKee Hargett of Rodney; his wife Jo Hargett; his daughters, Stacee Hargett of Little Rock and Ana Zirkle (Matthew) of Violet Hill; his siblings, Billy Hargett (Samantha) of Rodney, Michelle Marshall of Mountain Home, Melinda Hargett of El Cajon and Marsha Tuttle (Troy) of Rodney; and his grandchildren, Christopher Allen Zirkle, II and Charlotte Isabella Zirkle of Violet Hill. He is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
