It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lou Avery (Violet Hill, Arkansas), born in Fort Covington, New York, who passed away on September 14, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maude Gardner and Clarence Gardner; and her daughter Donna Dufresne. She is survived by: her husband Maynard Leonard Avery; her daughter Michelle Avery of Violet Hill; her sister Ruthie Spivey of Farmville, Virginia; her granddaughters, Jennifer (John), Julie (Rudy) of Virginia, Samantha (Austin) of New Madrid and Emma of Batesville, Arkansas; and her great grandchildren, Jordan, Jillian and Falynn. She is also survived by many other relatives and good friends.
