It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Etta Smallwood of Violet Hill, Arkansas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on December 21, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lee Carr, Sr. and Christine Carr (Hill); her husband Billy Dean Smallwood; her son Jerry Lynn Smallwood; her brothers, Arnel Warren Carr and William Lee Carr, Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Tracy Trey Johnson, Emmett Jayce Johnson and Slade Xander Dixon.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Leon Smallwood (Debra) and Barbara Ann Small (TJ); her grandchildren, Travis Leo Smallwood, Stacy Nicole Cook, Shelby Lynn Dixon (Alan), Melanie Renae Smallwood, Andrew Cook, Billy Joseph Smallwood, Elizabeth Lester, Alyssa Smallwood, Jacob Smallwood and Nicholas Smallwood; her great grandchildren, Cameron James Johnson, Isabell Grace Dixon, Alxavier Lewis, Alxekiel Lewis, Elizabeth Cook, Lilanna Cook, Isabella Cook, Korah Greathouse and Tallulah Lester; and her sisters, Eva Corrigan, Lena McMurtray, Patricia Harcas and Kathy Bell (Lewis). She is also survived by extended family and friends.
We are complying with the COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines provided by the Arkansas Health Department in limiting indoor attendance to 60 people.
