He was predeceased by: his parents, David Elbert Johnson, II and Anneliese Johanna Dormagen Johnson; and his brother Michael Johnson. He is survived by: his daughters, Beth Carmickle (Kenneth) of Virginia and Jessica Owens of Texas; his siblings, Steve Johnson of Texas and Linda MacFarland (David) of New Mexico; and his grandchildren, Kathryn Shupe and Zachary Owens. He is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
