She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Rennie Batterton and Beulah Arenda Batterton (Emery); her spouse Mylo John Brown; her siblings, Smokey Batterton and Wanda Guffey; her nephew Joe Batterton; and her siblings-in-law, Peggy Batterton, Sharon Batterton, Howard Billings and Bob Halphin.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jack Batterton of Viola, Jewell Batterton (Barbara) of Viola, Jim Batterton of Viola, Terry "Hoppy" Batterton of Viola, Arkansas, Janette Schlie (Gary) of Independence, Sue Billings of Viola and Pam Burns (Larry) of Viola, Arkansas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Arkansas Children's Hospital, or the American Cancer Society.
