He was predeceased by: his parents, James R Hon and Myrtle Hon (McCane); his children, Robby Hon, Michael Hon and Brenda Hon; and his siblings, Ralph Hon, Virgil Hon and Nancy Hicks.
He is survived by: his children, James Hon (Norine) of Blue Eye, Richard Hon, Kenneth Hon of Rye, Texas and Darlene Walker of Doniphan, Missouri; and his siblings, John Wayne Hon (Linda) of Lithia, Gene Hon (Helen) of Puxico, Benny Hon (Connie) of Viola, Viola Loetscher, Ethyl Clippard of Jackson, Leona Rea of Hempstead and Mary Walsh of Grand Blanc, Michigan. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
