He was predeceased by: his father Ulis Grant Thompson; his daughter Dawn Lee Thompson; his brothers, Edward and Roy Thompson; his nephews, Shawn, Everett, Henry Thompson and Harold Kenneth Warren; and his brother-in-law Steven Triplett.
He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Triplett, Shirley Nipper (James) and Andy Thompson (Aleen); and his nieces and nephews, Patricia, Alina, Wendy, Patty, Christina, Amber, Becky, Tommy, Richard, John, Andy, Daniel and Josh.
