He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Houston and Ava Darnal Gordon; and his siblings, Endol, F. A. Gordon, Bonnie Townsley and H. D. Gordon.

He is survived by: his wife Sammye; his children, Stanley Gordon, Jr. (Melanie Gordon), Sandra Hedrick (Tom) of Vilonia, Sue Shock (Steve) of Vilonia and Sharon Myers (Allan) of Vilonia; his grandchildren, Caleb Shock, Danielle, Brandy Holland, Lonnie, Sara Beth Blair, Dan, Brett Hedrick, Seth Gordon, Abbie, Lydia Gordon (Luke Wallesch), Noah Myers, Suzie, Jedidiah Myers, Luke Gordon, Kelsey, Hannah Valdez and Jacob; and his great grandchildren, Deacon Blair, Katie Mae Shock, Brier Holland, Leah Kate Blair, Dahlia Holland, Ellis Shock, Anna Beth Blair, Ava Lynn Blair, Weston Shock, Dace Gordon, Hattie Myers, Lainie Gordon, Eleanor Jane Valdez and Baby Myers.
