He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Bacon and Lavone Bacon; his brothers, Jack Bacon, Jr., Michael Bacon, Gary Bacon and Dennis Bacon; and his grandparents, John and Gladys Robb.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Bacon of Vilonia; his daughters, Janet Simmons (Mike) of Vilonia and Jennifer Pearce of Vilonia; and his grandchildren, Megan Stacks of Vilonia, Jacob Pearce of Vilonia and Landen Simmons of Vilonia. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the Vilonia Veterans Museum, 53 N. Mt Olive Rd, Vilonia, Arkansas 72173.
