He is survived by: his wife Vera Loyd (Flowers); his daughters, Rita Rush, Rhonda Loyd and Denice McKinnie; his grandchildren, George Hartje, III (Jackie), Jon Hartje (Amber), Nathan McKinnie and Tara Powell; his great grandchildren, Daniel, Jadelyn and McKayla Hartje; and his brothers, Wendell Loyd (Eura Mae) and Calvin Loyd (Thelma).
