She was predeceased by: her parents, Southa Collins and Hattie Collins; her sons, Dwayne and Jimmy Charles; and her sisters, Ruth Ann Maynard and Betty Charles.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Charles; her grandchildren, Grayson Charles (Courtney) and Jada Charles; and her sister Ruby Henson.
