He was predeceased by: his father Vernon Higgs. He is survived by: his mother Kathleen Higgs of Evansville, Indiana; his wife Betty Higgs of Vilonia; his children, Shannon Higgs of Richmond, Indiana, Heather Turner of Indianapolis, Indiana, Anita Cotton (Danny) of Bauxite, Arkansas, Danny Higgs (Brittany) of Centerville, Indiana and Jeremy Sumler of Benton, Arkansas; and his siblings, Elaine Sgorcea of Hendersonville, Kentucky, Richard Higgs of Tulsa, Mike Higgs of Jacksonville, Arkansas and Tim Higgs of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
